Glass Factory In Okinawa

Nago is a tourist town. And it hosted the G-8 Summit in 2000.

Mori no garasu kan 森のガラス館, "Glass Museum of the Forest" in Nago, Okinawa:

Ryukyu glass is famous for its vivid colours.

Visitors can watch how glass objects are made, and even give it a try themselves.

Though a last year's Japanese drama, I noticed this poster at the entrance: テンペスト, "The Tempest" - set in the Ryukyu Kingdom.

A glass shisaa シーサー from the Okinawan mythology.
